Young Kim

With more than 25 years of experience in financial services, Young brings both depth of knowledge and genuine care to every client relationship. His career began at SunAmerica, where he gained hands-on experience processing new business applications and developed a deep understanding of the industry’s operational foundation. That early exposure sparked a lifelong passion for helping individuals and families make confident, informed financial decisions.

Over the years, Young has built a reputation for simplifying complex financial concepts and delivering thoughtful, personalized strategies that reflect his clients’ unique goals and circumstances. His approach blends technical expertise with empathy—meeting clients where they are and helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.

In 2007, following his entrepreneurial spirit, Young stepped away from finance to open a fast-casual restaurant. The timing, however, coincided with the 2008 financial crisis. Though the business ultimately closed, the experience taught him resilience, humility, and the value of learning through challenges—qualities that continue to define his professional philosophy today.

Returning to financial services, Young brought renewed purpose and a deeper understanding of the personal and emotional side of financial decision-making. Today, he specializes in comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and insurance strategies, guiding clients through all stages of their financial journey.

Beyond his professional life, Young’s faith plays a central role in how he lives and serves. After surviving a near-death experience with COVID-19, he embraced a renewed spiritual path and lives as a reborn Christian, grounded in gratitude and purpose. That faith inspires how he shows up each day—as a father, husband, brother, son, and friend—with integrity, compassion, and joy.

Outside the office, Young enjoys golfing, skiing, and sharing good conversation over a fine cigar and a glass of scotch—always taking time to appreciate the simple moments and the lessons they bring.
